How to use GB Market
Step 1 of 5

Sign in — open it in any browser

GB Market runs in the browser, on the desk or in the truck.

A supplier that engineers around the failure.

We specialize in parts for drilling and the heavy equipment around it. We manufacture and redesign alternatives to OEM components, develop custom parts when a customer has a specific operational issue, and help drilling companies improve the way they manage and purchase critical inventory.

We don't sell parts. We sell four outcomes.

The part is the mechanism, not the point. Every conversation GB has with an operation comes back to one of these four, and the first order is sized to prove one of them.

Lower total costNot "20% cheaper". Acquisition price, service life, downtime, availability, freight, and the inventory you're sitting on.
Less downtimeA part that lasts longer, and one that's on a shelf when the machine stops rather than in a production queue.
Reliable inventoryAn agreed quantity reserved for your operation, so a repeat order ships the day you place it.
A simpler way to buyOne login instead of four suppliers, four emails and a week of phone tag.

How the first conversation actually goes

Seventy per cent listening, thirty per cent talking. The alternative is a supplier reciting a catalogue at you.

  1. We ask more than we tell

What you're running — and the climate and ground you're running it in, because an abrasive face through a wet winter wears a part nothing like a dry summer quarry does. Then which parts you replace most often, where the downtime comes from, and what you can't get on time. The answers decide which half of the catalogue is even relevant.

  2. We pick one part, not fifty

"Rather than trying to change everything you're buying, we'd prefer to start with one or two components where we believe we can make a measurable difference. If we prove ourselves there, we can build from that."

  3. We talk total cost, not price

If we can lower the acquisition cost, improve or maintain component life, and make sure the part is there when you need it, the total operating cost becomes significantly better — even where the sticker isn't dramatically different.

  4. Then we go and measure it

After the first installation: hours run, metres drilled, wear at pull-out, what the operator thinks, and what the OEM life actually was. Every important part ends up with a performance history.

A parts warehouse at night, looking down an aisle of loaded pallet racking — stacked centralizers, boxed kits, coiled hose and crated components — with a tracked drill rig parked in the open bay at the far end and shafts of light crossing the concrete floor.

"We think our part is better."

"Here is what this part did on this machine, in this application."

The only claim worth making

Nobody switches suppliers on a promise

So GB doesn't ask you to. Relationships grow in one direction, and each step only happens because the one before it worked.

One partWhere the difference is measurable.
FiveOnce the first one has a history on your machine.
TwentyReviewed quarterly — high-consumption and problem parts.
Reserved inventoryYou run four a month; we hold eight for you.
Your parts departmentWe know the fleet, the critical parts, and what you're about to run out of.

What we are, precisely

IndependentGB is nobody's dealer. G.B Réseau Distribution Inc. is not an agent, franchise or affiliate of any manufacturer — which is exactly why we can redesign a part instead of reselling the one that keeps failing. Where a manufacturer's name or number appears on this site, it is there to say what a part fits, and nothing more.
LabelledParts marked aftermarket or GB-made are not manufactured by the referenced OEM. We say which is which on every card in the catalogue, because a buyer deciding between them deserves to know without asking.
Engineers first, distributors tooForty-eight parts in GB Market are ours — re-engineered to outlast the original, and proven on the machine. The rest of the catalogue is what we chose to stand behind: vetted, stocked and sold under our name, because a rig runs on a whole catalogue and most of it doesn't need redesigning. The forty-eight are where we change the outcome.
